Hebes Chasma in 3D

This amazing 3D image of the Hebes Chasma, a mountainous area inside the deepest canyon on Mars, has been generated using high definition images taken by the High Resolution Stereo Camera (HRSC) on board ESA’s Mars Express orbiter. 

I’m constantly in awe over images like this. Truly breathtaking. That’s science for you.
